AVW Architecture founded in 2010 by Angeliki Athanasiadou and Katerina Vasilakou in Athens, AVW Architecture is a dynamic architectural firm specializing in complex projects, including public buildings, commercial and professional spaces, tourism developments, recreational facilities, and residential projects. Since 2013, the firm has been actively involved in airport design, with highlights including the New Kalamata Airport and the Athens International Airport expansion (in collaboration with Tombazi Architects), a project nominated for the Mies van der Rohe Award 2022 and the UNESCO Prix Versailles.
AVW Architecture’s work has earned recognition from the Hellenic Institute of Architecture, the Technical Chamber of Greece, Domes Magazine, and Architizer, and has been widely published in Greece and abroad.
