At the 14th DIY & Home Improvement Conference<\/b>, the special “DIY Lifetime Award”<\/b> will be presented to Nikos Houlis,<\/b> the Founder of Durostick. The conference is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, November 29th<\/b> (9:00-17:00) at the Benaki Museum<\/b> (138 Piraeus, Athens).
\nNikos Houlis began his professional career at the young age of fourteen, alongside his father. From a young age, he learned the value of creation, as well as the hard work and sacrifices required to achieve professional recognition and personal fulfillment.
\nIn 1988, he established his own company, “Durostick N. Houlis,” with a focus on producing adhesives, paints, and mortars. He advanced, making his vision synonymous with quality and reliability, and continues to have a highly successful presence in the Greek market, as well as in international markets.
\nOver the course of its 35 years in operation, Durostick has secured one of the top positions among industry players. The company possesses state-of-the-art, high-tech mechanical equipment, and its range of 350 products covers the entire spectrum of construction. Its workforce consists of 220 individuals, and its well-equipped laboratory serves as a modern research and development center, aimed at creating new products and continuously evolving existing ones. Nikos Houlis’s business objective and vision have always been the continuous and sustainable growth of Durostick, always with respect for people and the environment.
